Mechelle Harrison

I Can Fly

Mechelle's love of art led her to earn a
Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Illustration
from the Columbus College of Art and Design in
Columbus, Ohio. She now resides with her
husband and three children in the Atlanta area.

Mechelle started her art career in graphic design
and illustration for various companies and was
also partner in a design firm for several years.
She started to exhibit in art galleries, which led
her to exhibit in art festivals 17 years ago. She
has exhibited in over 30 galleries and art
festivals. The desire for her own creative
expression led her to pursue art shows. Mechelle
has exhibited her work throughout Georgia and
the Southeast, and has sold into private and
corporate collections. She has also sold some of
her work through the Smithsonian Institution gift
shops.

Mechelle teaches art classes to children. She
enjoys watching the little budding artists explore
different mediums.
