I am a Fabric Doll Artist with 20 years experience in fabric arts including quilting, doll making, beading, and fashion design. My strengths include color coordination for complex design projects, giving attention to details. I have worked several years as a Design Studio Assistant, taught Beading and Doll Making Classes at local shops and participated in design development and production for fabric arts specializing in quilts. I have assisted in the development of patterns for McCall’s Magazine and produced design samples for market.
Samples of my work have been published in a variety of documents published by other artists. I have participated in several local Art Exhibitions and competed in various Art Challenges and Competitions. Currently one of my dolls is traveling throughout the US with the Hoffman Fabric Challenge. I am also a Doll Collector and served as President of the Dollie Mamas Doll club until 2003. I am very passionate about dolls and doll designing.
In 2006 I was honored to be crowned Ms Senior Georgia 2006. I am now president of the Georgia Classic club. I share my talents and speak at local senior community centers to motivate and encourage other seniors in keeping an active and positive outlook on life.
